Carter Kim
Also known as McChowmein, Carter Kim is a Korean-American concert and street photographer based in Washington, DC and Arizona. Initially finding photography in his early teens to document his high school experience, Carter emphasizes the work that captures raw emotion, telling stories while leaving much for the viewer to interpret. In college, Carter is currently exploring his project Fauna Americana: an exploration of the inhabitants of DC and the way they both shape and are shaped by their environment.
Carter has/had shot for The Eagle, Ego Magazine, Dupont Underground, Wasia Project, Flipturn, Laufey, and DC Fashion Week
Fauna Americana
